[Bug 112511] Backport Pidgin 2.0.0 Final to Fiesty

Public bug reported:

I'd like to request Pidgin 2.0.0 Final be backported to Feisty, or find
its way somehow into the repositories. The current version of Gaim is
2.0.0 beta 6, so I believe that the final release (albeit with a name
change) should be included. I read on the forum that something similar
was done with Edgy, from a Firefox 2 RC to the final version(s+). Thank
you.
