By the way, you can easily install Sonata 1.5.2 in Hardy:

1. Download and install python-mpd (for intrepid) from here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/python-mpd
2. Download and extract sonata-1.5.x.tar.bz2 from here: http://sonata.berlios.de/download.html
3a) Either start it directly (withouth installing) using "python sonata.py"
3b) or install it using "python setup.py install" (as root).

Installing also needs stuff like python-gtk-dev and python-dev and so
on. Check the dependencies on the download-page..
