[Bug 175096] Re: please backport pidgin v 2.3.x

I uploaded a backported version of pidgin to my ppa, I only changed the
build dep of libnss3-dev to 3.11.5. Please test it. The following
plugins need to be tested:

- basic plugins of pidgin-plugin-pack
- pidgin-otr
- pidgin-librvp
- pidgin-libnotify
- pidgin-hotkeys
- pidgin-guifications
- pidgin-extprefs
- pidgin-encryption
- pidgin-blinklight

I tested guifications, the gutsy version works fine with the backport.

It would also be great if you could indicate with which network you
tested (jabber, IRC, MSN...)

jdong: the change in the build dep might break a fix provided here :

about this, could you please check ?
