[Bug 244131] [NEW] Please backport gpodder package

gPodder (http://www.gpodder.org/) is an excellent piece of software that is useful to manage audio and video podcasts. Version 0.11.3 was released on 2008-06-01. There is an Intrepid package already. I have tested the new version on another distro and it really has some nice performance improvements as well as new functionality. It looks as if the only dependencies are python libraries already present in hardy, as far as I can tell from here -> http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/gpodder
Please consider this backport.
