Sorry if I'm being dense Alexander, but I don't understand. You say 3.5
is already in Jaunty (last I looked it is, but as b4) and will be
updated (I assume to the release version) as a security update. Then you
turn around and say that "obviously" you won't be updating the 3.5
that's in Jaunty. That's a direct contradiction.

Is the 3.5 (b*) in Jaunty going to be updated to the release/production
version or not? If not, then why not? The earlier version is still the
default for anybody not wanting to "risk" the new version. Why in the
world would it be frozen at a beta version until Karmic?
