It seems the build failure is related to the ordering of parameters
given to gcc in the Makefile. I could reproduce this behaviour with a
little test which compiles on Natty but not on Oneiric. But I don't know
yet how to fix this, in Makefile.am or somewhere else. I have attached
the test.
