I tested the backport in my ppa (ppa:smits-ruben/ppa) and can confirm
the following:

* precise:
[X] Package builds without modification
[X] libfacets-ruby1.9.1 installs cleanly and runs
[X] libfacets-ruby-doc installs cleanly and runs
[X] ruby-facets installs cleanly and runs
[X] ruby-facets-doc installs cleanly and runs
[X] libfacets-ruby1.8 installs cleanly and runs
[X] libfacets-ruby installs cleanly and runs
