Let me share a fact with you. Yesterday's experience.

I thought let's lie to MS and see what they do with my pirated product 
key of XP. I installed XP in a computer with a Googled key and called 
them (Skype Tool Free) for activation. Now they says they key is not 
valid and I said what can I do. Then they forward me to another executive.

The experiance was awosome. WIth some permission sharing, that agent get 
into my computer and checkd a few things in front of my eyes. Foldes 
like VISTA_XP_CRACK, DISABLE_WPA etc was on that desktop. I wanted to 
see what he really do. He did not do anything and just asked me where 
did you get this key. I said from Dell. He said why did not you called 
them. I said this computer is baught 4 years back and it doesn't have 
any warrenty and they asked me to contact with you. So he did the 
following...

So they don't care actually how you get your windows. They just want you 
to be legal.

Personally I don't have any problem with microsoft. After sending the 
following mail to the list one guy sent me this off the list:

unfortuntely, this one still holds true - FOR LINUX!!! They haven't really
evolved too much over the Win95 days! :)
