[Ubuntu-BD] Upgrading Python Version

My synaptic has Python 2.5, 2.4 and others. Is there a way I can add the
official jaunty deb packages source to my synaptic ?

I tried adding "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu jaunty main". But it
doesn't work. :(
