He he it never crashed on me in kde 3.5.

KDE 4 plasma crashes every week from extensive usage...
I can guarantee that plasma will crash when you try to sign in for the first
time in Twitter widget included in KDE 4. I have seen it crashing at in
different distros...

Still a fan & will be a fan of KDE over gnome...
