I think you had to solve the thread's problem but instead you posted another

@Saiful Islam : Connecting broadband is just as easy as in Windows, in
Ubuntu just Goto Network manager and set the static IP for wired
connections. And then set the DNS gateway. If you have to set the MAC
address its there in the dialog box as well.
