[Ubuntu-BD] Could not start X server

Hi,

I'm in a trouble. That is last night my machine got shut down due to
electric failure. This morning when I was trying to boot my LINUX MINT 7
GLORIA after the splash screen it's displaying a box containing the
following message:

 

"Could not start X Server.... (Then some lines) ..... Restart GDM when the
problem will be fixed. Now what should I do?
