It's not always customary to organize Release party on the exact Release date. 
Release programs can be organized at later dates.

why there is not any discussion is another matter of discussion, that is 
better to be left out of the mailing list.

You can still help us organize some event at BUET (that would be really 
helpful). if you permit group admins can contact you off the list...
