Let's solve it in two steps:
*Step ONE:
*---------
1. Go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal
2. Give command:
gedit /home/<username>/.bashrc
note: Please replace '<username>' with your own username.
3. A text file will open. Now copy the following texts at the end of the
file:
export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus
export XMODIFIERS=@im=ibus
export QT_IM_MODULE=ibus
4. Save and Close the file.
*Step TWO:*
-----------
1. Go to System > Preferences > Startup Applications
2. Click the button: Add and fill out the form with the informations like
below.
Name: IBus
Command: /usr/bin/ibus-daemon -d
Comment: start IBus
(screenshot: http://yfrog.com/2pstartupibusp )
3. Save the config and reboot your pc.
*
Other things to mention:*
-----------
"System > Administration > Language Support > Keyboard input method system"
should be set as "ibus'
Lastly, I am sorry for being lazy. And the
http://forum.amaderprojukti.comhas a much more active community than
this mailing list. That's why it was
prescribed to ask for help there.
Thank you.
Best Wishes,
