[Ubuntu-BD] How to select the best FTP server?

Dear All,

Which one is the best FTP server here from Bangladesh? Currently I am using
'http://debian.nctu.edu.tw'. The problem is, some repositories couldn't be
found after attempting to install packages, its shows 'Err
http://debian.nctu.edu.tw lucid-updates/universe Sources 404 Not Found'.
What you may suggest to do in this case? Over some discussion forums, I
found that some people recommend using FTP rather than HTTP. Don't know yet
whether it would solve my problem :) But if there is any way out, would you
please show me? Now its really frustrating after several attempts. You know,
choosing the best server option will bring you different server.

I am on Lucid (10.04)
