I know its off topic but cant resist myself from mentioning that some
viruses inject their copy to almost any windows exe file.
Its called code injection. Its something like sql injection. But its not sql
rather machine code that is inserted in an executable file.
Most worm/virus inject itself in a way in explorer.exe so that it runs each
time you do any file operation.
