Hi Ashiq,
Thanks for taking up the issue of keeping the momentum going on
although U-bd has been quite for some time now.

Few suggestions though,
Keep it simple keep it friendly.

No need to have formal getup with banner and fastoons, its unnecessary
expenses, if you really want one, have someone make handmade.

Take enough time for preparation and promotion. One weeks notice is
not good enough for either. You can't manage money/snacks/cake/etc
within 5 days. An event announced so late will have poor turnover,
most people have already made their plan for weekend. Even I'm not
available on 21st

If possible manage snacks in a manner that it costs 15-20 tk per head,
for drinks bring large 2 liter pack into play, no one will blame you
for having short budget and cutting cost.

To plan better have online registration page.

To distribute dvd/cd better ask the interested participients to let
you know how many disk they need. That way you cut down unnecessary
wastage

Instead of having gathering on robindro shorobor or tsc pick someplace
a bit less crowded on weekend.


My final suggestion? Party means having fun together, so make sure you have fun
