I think you didn't get my point. I said anyone could do it, any
organization, company or person. But what I did talk about what the
branding. Good FOSSBD arrange that event, that's a very good thing. But
things start to the wrong as they label events with a sticker of FOSSBD.
Couldn't you just say an event arranged by the community instead of saying
an arranged by FOSSBD? Are you guys not the members of the community?

Since it's an event targeted towards the Ubuntu community, you should have
mentioned of the local Ubuntu users, not an organization. When you arrange
events like the penguin fair, It is perfectly OK and you are encouraged to
use your branding. But it is not the case with the global jam.

I hope I was not misunderstood this time :-)
