Although I was not the guy who you asked they question, but I believe I
have a good answer. :)

1. HTML is a "markup language", a language that is used to describe the
markup and semantics of a document. It is used to create a structure for
documents, typically web pages.

2. Whereas JavaScript and Python are "programming languages". These
actually can "perform tasks" like looping, condition checking, bitwise and
arithmetic operations, instead of only displaying pretty formatting.
