Dear Belgian Ubuntuers!

We are seeking a full-time Linux system administrator with programming skills to work at our new 
offices and in our three data-centra locations.


Knowledge requirements:
=======================

- You have to know perfectly how to administer the Linux and BSD distro variants such as Ubuntu, 
Gentoo, RedHat, Fedora, OpenBSD, FreeBSD and others.

- Advanced knowledge about various open-source software and protocols such as Postfix, MySQL, IMAP, 
POP, SSL, SSH, Amavis, Spamassassin, Apache, IPtables, Kernel, LightHTTPd and other commonly used 
software.

- Advanced PHP and Perl knowledge. Additional languages are welcome.


Knowledge preference (NOT required):
====================================

- Basic TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, NAT, Cisco ACL and Cisco IOS (CCNA/CCNP)
- General routing knowledge
- XHTML and CSS
- Photoshop (General grafix)

- Dutch:
	Spoken:  Fluent/Native
	Written: Fluent/Native

- English
	Spoken: Understandable
	Written: Fluent

- We have a highly preference for somebody who speaks and fluently writes Dutch, English and French. 
French however is NOT a requirement.


Company / Work environment:
===========================

Belgian Network Solutions is a company providing Housing, Colocation, Datacenter services and IP 
Transit and IP/MPLS - DWDM services in InterXion Brussels (Private cage with 20 racks), MCI/Verizon 
Brussels (200m2, about 80 racks) and LCL Brussels (IP/MPLS/Transit services only)

All three data-centra are close to each other (15km radius) and our offices are the old UUnet 
building next to our biggest PoP MCI/Verizon.

You will be joining a small team of young (age 20 to 25) technical persons to maintain the Belgian 
Network Solutions infrastructure, customer equipment and all related datacenter solutions.

As you notice PHP/Perl knowledge is required for our in-house tools such as monitoring, automation 
and end-user interfaces. PHP/Perl knowledge is required for all canidates.

We HIGHLY prefer canidates who live near Diegem/Zaventem who are close to our data-center 
facilities. Job references are NOT required but are preferenced. Please note that your knowledge 
will be severely tested at the job-interview.

Our offices are located in Diegem (Culliganlaan 2H) between the Microsoft and Nokia buildings. Daily 
presence at the office is required.
