It won't weigh less... it's quite a beefy computer (quad core, 4 gig, new nvidia card) in a black tower case Antec (not the gamer type of case, but a pretty business case) with a dual monitor setup (2 different sizes of monitors)
I've also got a Wacom tablet (working on the pressure thingie), but I'm not an artist enough to go drawing there...

I've got Ubuntu 9.04 (32 bits) running (what else?) and it's pretty much the default template, but quite some chemical tools (my wife's a chemist, I'm on my way to convert her away from her dreaded Windows box - Vista helping me out on her computer)
