[Ubuntu-be] Addition of links to Ubuntu-be web-site

  Hi to all,

As decided in IRC meetings, we agreed to include links to other 
Ubuntu-related sites in our Ubuntu-be website.

Readers of the mailing-list are invited to relay this offer to 
appropriate contacts and to who is concerned.

Companies and organizations interested by this offer : just follow the 
procedure (see Par. 5 below).

Summary:

1. Eligibility : who is concerned ?

    Commercial companies, organizations and non-benefit organizations,
    with activities related to Ubuntu.

2. Conditions (extract)

    * location : companies located in Belgium, and abroad ... if
      product/service is available in Belgium,
    *   activity : clear and obvious relation to Ubuntu (hardware,
      maintenance, promotion, education, ...),
    *   link : a direct link to web page presenting the Ubuntu related
      product or service is mandatory,

3. Details of the insertion - content

    To be provided by the company and accepted by members of the
    Ubuntu-be community reviewing the application:

    * name of the company, location, contact information, logo (max.
      size 100x100 px),
    * URL of web page presenting the Ubuntu related product or service,
    * Short description of the activity (300-600 characters). This
      description must be as informative as possible and shouldn't
      include dubious or non-verifiable claims.

4. Reciprocity : what do we ask for ?

    Nothing is required, but suggested linking to Ubuntu-be.org and
    taking action in/for the community (sponsoring, etc.). It is clear
    that Ubuntu-be will really appreciate this kind of reciprocity.

5. Application procedure (for interested companies/organizations)

    * Send an application to contact op ubuntu-be.org, explaining who you
      are (all detailed information) and demonstrate your engagement
      towards Ubuntu and Ubuntu-promotion,
    * When your application is accepted, you will have to send the
      information as to be published (see above),
    * Your contribution will be published on the web-page "Links" at
      Ubuntu-be.org for an initial period of 12 months,
    * Before expiration, renewal of your request will have to be sent to
      contact op ubuntu-be.org for extension of the publication period for
      another 12 months.

6. Agreement

    * Application will examined by members of Ubuntu-be (contact-group -
      Belgian LoCo Team) and, after coordination, (eventually) agreed
      for an initial period of 12 months.
    * The time limit of acceptance is intended to facilitate the control
      of active links and commitment to Ubuntu. Renewal will be accepted
      after a request for.
    * The decision of publication can be canceled if conditions/rules
      are not respected.
