Is your phone discoverable?
I ask this since you can't pair from your pc but you can from your mobile and if your try to sent a file without pairing your phone doesn't appear.
If it wasn't, activate it and then disable the pairing in both devices and start a new one.

I have an HTC Artemis and a Sony Ericsson K608i working fine with
Intrepid.
