please, can you tell us what ppa are you using?
some weeks ago i triedobex-data-server from Baptiste's ppa, but it did'nt work for me.
i'll do another test with updated packages, and i will report the results.

the bug is  unresolved in intrepid
in hardy it seems that there are ppa tha can fix it.
in intrepid, well.... there is a new version of bluez stack, that fix the problem that was present in hardy, but raised new problems.
so, this bug report is referred to different bugs.
i think this bug should be closed, an a new bug report sould be opened for intrepid.
