I should have wrote this in my previous post.
While the mouse is connected and working, if I turn the mouse off then turn it on it will reconnect. After the mouse has lost it's connection from inactivity and I turn it off then turn it on, it does not reconnect. I need to press the connection button and type hidd --search in the terminal.
