[Bug 345089] [NEW] Programme does not complete start up V.8.10

After installing Desktop Version 8.10 on my computer currently running windows XP, it starts up with the request to choose which system.
When choosing  Ubuntu the programme starts loading and appears to almost complete before
locking up.  It then displays a list of various checks all marked OK until reaching Bluetooth which
is left unmarked.
