Kensington dongle and Tungsten TX

Hello;

I'm familiar with running Linux and ubuntu for a while, but I'm new to 
the bluetooth stuff.

I have a kensington bluetooth dongle and a Palm TX.  Right now, I CAN 
send files from PC to PALM, but I can't get the palm to sync to the PC.  
I keep getting the following error message:

"Unable to initiate hotsync operation because the port is in use by 
another application."

So, can you give me some ideas or tell me where to begin?
