I get the same problem.

Note: the error about RFKILL can be fixed by running as root with sudo.
Permissions problems with the device?

strace shows this:

open("/dev/rfkill", O_RDWR)             = -1 EACCES (Permission denied)

crw-r--r-- 1 root root 10, 63 2009-09-23 08:48 /dev/rfkill

This may be two separate bugs.
