You have been subscribed to a public bug:

After restarting PC from Windows 7 to Ubuntu, Kubuntu 8.10, 9.04 with
several kernels computer hangs on Bluetooth starting message. It is
independent on BT installed. Chipset ATI 690. When you turn off Windows
7 and then turn on computer, boot is ok. This problem is on (K)Ubuntu
only I have tested, Mandriva or Suse is ok.
