There is a workaround: echo 'Y' > /sys/module/sco/parameters/disable_esco

- I have a Dell inspiron mini 1012, and paired to Dell BH200 bluetooth headset.
- While playing music, music comes out from internal speaker, open sound preference in lucid, but found Dell BH200 disappear in the setting. And we can make sure Dell BH200 is in the bluetooth preference device list.
- Attempt to pair another bluetooth headset Nokia BH503, but it won't happen like this condition.
