An updated firmware has recently been posted upstream (ath3k-1.fw) which
we have had a preliminary look at and appears to correct the issues here
specific to AR3011:

May I ask you who currently have AR3011 to give it a test, by putting
the attached ath3k-1.fw firmware file in /lib/firmware. Remember to
first remove the ar3011 dkms if you have installed it before testing.
