Public bug reported:
After starting a simple program that does nothing but call hci_inquiry()
in a loop (code below), my wireless will disconnect after a couple
minutes. This happens consistently.
After it disconnects, the wireless will not be able to reconnect as long
as the test program is running, but as soon as I kill the program, the
wireless immediately reconnects.
With a ~four second inquiry period, the problem manifested on five
consecutive runs after 1:48, 1:09, 1:43, 0:33, and 1:04.
hcidump didn't show any difference between the period it was working and
the period during/after it stopped working.
Tailing /var/log/syslog showed the problem manifesting:
