You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I have a logitech bluetooth wireless speaker adapter, when I connect to
the device my audio output will switch to the speakers, but my volume
control will still be controlling the previous audio device. The volume
of the bluetooth speakers is always set to 100% and I can't change it
until I go into the sound settings window and select my bluetooth audio
device.
I'm running Ubuntu 12.10.
