i recently upgraded to 24.04.1 and i think i'm seeing a similar issue...

i am able to play audio to my DAC after connecting through bluetooth using the gui.
test sound works, VLC works...   but i have audirvana installed and when i use it to
connect to my computer, the DAC doesn't show up as an output device and when i run
pactl list cards, api.bluez5.connection for the device is set to "disconnected"

i'll note that if i connect the DAC with a USB cable, everything shows
up and works as expected.

i was hopeful about the PPA linked in #5 above, but after adding the
repo and updating, my particular issue remains unresolved.

any suggestions?
