Agora com relação ao arquivo que você mencionou , o Source List corrompido , eu aproveitei para mostra-lo pra você como ele está escrito e ter à certeza de que é este o problema mesmo , olhe e veja , é está ordem que está escrito no arquivo ( etc/apt/Source.list )  :

É exatamente o que está escrito . 
Se for este o problema então providenciarei uma nova source list imediatamente , caso contrário , aguardarei uma nova solução , Ok!?

Desde que eu instalei o Ubuntu 6.06 LT comecei à desvenda-lo , passando  pela configuração da Internet à o reconhecimento dos seus arquivos e seus processos , pois como ele estava em Inglês, algumas das opções , resultou nestá figuração que está ai ...!

bom, é isso ai ...!
