[Ubuntu-BR] Vagas na Canonical

Opa Adilson tudo bem?
O plugin pode sim ser distribuído, aliás desde o windows 98 o flash player
vem instalado junto ao internet explorer.
O que tem que acontecer é um esforço entre as partes para um entendimento
maior uma vez que o Flash Player embora seja de distribuiçao livre e
gratuita, não é software livre, e não apresenta garantias (tais como
constantes na EULA do flash player), e é de propriedade intelectual única da
Adobe Systems Incorporated.
A Adobe tem uma EULA (End User License Agreement) padrão para softwares dela
tipo Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player etc onde deixa claro que a
distribuição de licensas do flash player em softwares/hardware é possível.

"Transfer. You may not rent, lease, sublicense, assign or transfer your
rights in the Software, or authorize all or any portion of the Software to
be copied onto another user's Computer except as may be expressly permitted
herein. You may, however, transfer all your rights to Use the Software to
another person or legal entity provided that: (a) you also transfer (i) this
Agreement, and (ii) the Software and all other software or hardware bundled
or pre-installed with the Software, including all copies, Updates and prior
versions, to such person or entity, (b) you retain no copies, including
backups and copies stored on a Computer, and (c) the receiving party accepts
the terms and conditions of this Agreement and any other terms and
conditions upon which you legally purchased a license to the Software.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may not transfer education, pre-release,
or not for resale copies of the Software."

Pelo que eu li e entendi, a canonical poderia obter da Adobe uma licensa
para distribuir livremente o plugin do flash, e neste caso não é o mesmo
caso de Royalties ou de milhões de US$, e sim de uma licensa com fins de
autorização para distribuição do mesmo em seu software uma vez que a Adobe
por deter toda a propriedade intelectual do produto não iria querer o mesmo
associado a qualquer tipo de software/pacote (o que não é o caso do ubuntu,
Acredito que a própria adobe tem total interesse que seu Flash Player venha
"bundled" com o ubuntu.
