[Ubuntu-BR] gDesklets

Bom dia,

Sou um usuário novo no Ubuntu, tenho um Acer Aspire 5100, AMD64,
instalei o Ubuntu 7.10, e não estou conseguindo rodar o gDesklets. Ele
apresenta um erro ao tentar iniciar o gdesklets-daemon:

Cannot establish connection to daemon: timeout! 
The log file might help you solving the problem.

Verifiquei o log, mas naum entendi muita coisa!
