Anyway, acho mais facil assim:

Aperte CTRL+ALT+F2
Vai aperecer o console assim

Ubuntu 11.04 bla bla bla bla

Nomedopc login:

Digite seu usuário o logo após a senha.

Digite os seguintes comandos:

$ cd /home/seu_usuario
$ chown seu_usuario .ICEauthority
$ reboot

Pronto! ;)
