Hi guys,
I know that saucy is a development release and I do not think my
question is a bug.
Of course I test beta releases to ensure the needed portfolio is still
supported to avoid unexpected impact.
In my point of view it would be be enought to adjust the dependencies of
the raring pakage of lib32asound from (= 1.0.25-4ubuntu3) to (>=
1.0.25-4ubuntu3) or maybe provide a backport package in saucy.
Please tell me if I really should file a bug for this.
Thank you
Peter

actionparsnip proposed the following answer:
I suggest you report a bug. Saucy is not stable, ready or for regular
users.
If you want an OS that works I recommend you perform a clean install of
Precise. It is LTS and supported til April 2017 and known to be rock
solid
What did you expect!!?
