I'd first use the Ubuntu Error Tracker to see if it is true, rather than
spending time trying to recreate the bug etc....
http://errors.ubuntu.com/bug/1236109
That url will look up the crash in the Error Tracker corresponding to
Launchpad bug 1236109.
This is a bit complicated though since the developer said it was a crash
in the dependent package, libmenu-cache, and not in lxlauncher. However,
since we have the following versions of libemenu-cache3 in the archive:
$ rmadison libmenu-cache3
libmenu-cache3 | 0.5.1-1ubuntu1 | trusty/universe | amd64, arm64, ...
libmenu-cache3 | 0.6.1-1 | utopic/universe | amd64, arm64, ...
libmenu-cache3 | 1.0.0-1 | vivid/universe | amd64, arm64, ...
and the problem page doesn't list any Utopic (14.10) instances of the
crash it does seem likely that the crash is fixed.
Does that all make sense?
