It works fine for me as well, and doesn't require any other Intrepid
packages, so for anyone affected by this you can just download the file
and double-click to install.

You can download it from here for i386:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/i386/genisoimage/download

and for amd64:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/amd64/genisoimage/download

Hopefully this package can just be backported in its entirety to Hardy,
as Hardy is a LTS.
