PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D
HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8164B
My father uses his computer mostly for copying DVDs that he creates from
his archive of (not copyright protected) movies, mostly home movies shot
by himself. He likes to copy these DVDs and give them to various family
members and also for backup purposes. Usually what he does is pop in a
blank dvd into the Pioneer RW drive and Pop in the master copy into to
HL-DT drive, right click the "DVD Video Recording" icon on the desktop,
go to "Copy Disk", and away he goes.
This is extremely simple, which is just fine. However, Just now when he
tries to copy a DVD, it gives him the following error:
File image creation failed
The selected location does not have enough space to store the disc image (4332 MiB needed).
This seems very odd if the dvd is copying on-the-fly. If it's first
ripping the image to a temporary directory, it is possible that, since
he does so many, a LOT of space is taken up. However I don't know
exactly where the dvd images would be stored with whatever the name of
the program he's using to copy the disks.
