The latest stable release is 0.8.2.
NO ver. 0.8.4 is available!
My DVD Writer "core" is SONY DVD RW AW-G170A.
My project is a Audio CD, with converting mp3/flac to audio cd files.
Brasero cannot recognize my Blank CD-R which is 700MB/80MIN, though Nautilus noted as such. 
I feel that Brasero is kinda prevented from reading/reaching the media by something.
Here's my work-around.
Install Serpentine. Can see Blank CD-R. Error when converting! So don't know if it can burn to CD or not.
Install GnomeBaker. Burn smoothly (though cannot rename CD label name ... hic).
Go back to Brasero. It can see my Blank CD-R (I put in another blank CD-R, of course).
