Can you point me to an appropriate repository for cdrecord?  It doesn't
seem to be in the Dell repos.  I'll also need help adding that
repository for apt-get/Synaptic.

I've tried installing Jaunty UNR, but there were serious update-related
bugs that caused the Gnome panel to unload; it also ran much more
sluggishly than Dellbuntu Hardy.  I'll try reproducing the CD burn error
using the Jaunty UNR Live USB.
