As it seems this bug isn't a problem of Brasero but rather a problem of
gstreamer-plugins-bad.

As already mentioned in this report, this is the comment from an upstream Brasero developer.

This are the requirements to make the Video Project work.

It would be great if the this bug could be resolved before the final
release of Jaunty.
