[Bug 350365] [NEW] "Writing track n" shows untranslated, albeit it's translated

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: brasero

Using Jaunty Beta, fully translated.

The string "Writing track %02i" shows untranslated in my Spanish desktop
(it must be displayed as "Escribiendo pista %02i". However, it's
translated in Launchpad since 20080221:

https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/brasero/+pots/brasero/es/785/+translate

and the translation is inside the corresponding brasero.mo file:

  $ strings /usr/share/locale-langpack/es/LC_MESSAGES/brasero.mo | grep Escribiendo
  Escribiendo pista %02i

Steps to reproduce:

0. Install all Spanish language packs (language-pack-es-*).
1. Boot into Jaunty and select Spanish language.
2. Go into GNOME.
3. Right-click on an .ISO file, and select "Write to disk".
4. Start burning the .ISO file into a CD-R/RW.

Result: the string "Writing track 01" is displayed in English, instead
of "Escribiendo pista 01" in Spanish.

I attach an screenshot to illustrate the problem.

** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
