There's nothing we can do if you're not willing to upgrade to a recent
release, the bug is a low priority one and it won't be fixed in that
release since it doesn't fit the requirements for an SRU[1]; often users
think that every single bug can be backported and fixed to a release but
that's not true, there's a clear policy about that.
