[Bug 507304] [NEW] HP DVD1140 not mounting correctly

Binary package hint: brasero

 I think this maybe a driver issue. I am unable to mount HP DVD 1140
with any kind of CD or DVD. The following commend on the terminal "sudo
lshw -C disk" only showed my hardware drive. it give no information on
the DVD. I have even tried this with older disk of Ubuntu 8.04 in the
drive. Is there a driver available for this DVD/CD player? Brasero and
other CD/DVD softwares are unable to find this drive.
