I can also confirm that there is still a problem with my Pioneer DVR-
218L still causes problems with Nautilus and brasero as of 17/05/2010
with Ubuntu 10.04. The crashing of nautilus is less severe now though.
It crashes, and then restarts again, and I can at least view audio cd
tracks using rhythmbox, but I can't play anything. This problem still
happens with older audio CDs from the early-mid 1990s.

If there is anything I can do to help, I will do it gladly. Last year I
submitted a bug report for this, but it was tagged as incomplete, and I
didn't have time to fix it. Now I can help solve the issue.
