YES, I do confirm both solutions:

- the bring-again-to-life commands for RW disks of Tom Jaeger (thjaeger)

- the libisofs low priority fix of Cyrus Lien (cyruslien)

I've tested both on an fresh USB Live of Ubuntu 11.10.
